Andrii Zhuravskyi

Director

Andrii Zhuravskyi is a London-based Ukrainian film director developing independent feature dramas in funding and development. His work is rooted in character-driven storytelling and shaped by experience across directing, assistant directing, and production management in the UK and across pan-European projects.

His selected directing credits include Hiraeth, a short documentary for BBC Wales / It’s My Shout, and King of Spades, an independent short drama recognised across a wide range of international showcases and festival platforms.

He has also built industry experience across feature, television, and music video work, alongside training at the National Film and Television School and an MA in Film Directing from the University of South Wales. The Lock is part of his current slate of feature projects in development.

Anna Pavlova (Garshyna)

Screenwriter

Anna Pavlova (Garshyna) is a Ukrainian-born screenwriter based in Cardiff. Across more than twenty years in Ukrainian film and television, she has worked as a screenwriter, show-runner, and script doctor, building extensive experience in story development for screen.

Her background also includes work on independent shorts as a director and producer, alongside research on the BBC short documentary New Voices from Wales in 2022.

Her training includes a screenwriting degree from VGIK and further professional development through the National Film and Television School. On The Lock, she brings long-form story craft and deep cultural context to the screenplay.

François Evans

Composer

François Evans is a French-English feature film composer, conductor, and music producer with more than three decades of experience in film scoring.

His credits span feature work across drama, thriller, and action, including Inherit the Witch as well as earlier titles such as A Fistful of Fingers, The 3 Kings, Hitman, and Sudden Fury.

He holds a PhD in electro-acoustic music composition from City University of London and works from his studio in western France, bringing both long-form craft and a distinctive musical voice to The Lock.

Tom Kinnear

Producer

Tom Kinnear is a British producer based in Bristol, working across independent film production in the UK.

His background includes several UK-based short films and five years of producing experience, with a practical focus on development and production delivery.

He studied film at UWE and brings UK production perspective and project-building support to The Lock.

Scott McDonald

Executive Producer (SiDonald)

Scott McDonald is attached to The Lock as Executive Producer through SiDonald, supporting strategic development conversations around the project and its next-stage positioning.

His role on the project is focused on helping strengthen partnership pathways and industry-facing momentum as the package continues to develop.

Jordan Sion

Executive Producer (SiDonald)

Jordan Sion is attached to The Lock through SiDonald as Executive Producer, contributing to packaging strategy and industry-facing outreach around the project.

His involvement supports external relationship-building and the wider positioning of the film within development and partnership conversations.
